September 2, 2022 by Essay Writer

Unethical behavior is an activity that falls outside of what is viewed as ethically right or appropriate for an individual. The behavior which is orthodoxly not true is unethical. People can act unethically according to various reasons. To start with, pressure can drive individuals to do things they wouldn’t normally do. Second, a few people settle on untrustworthy decisions since they don’t know about what truly is the best activity. Third, personal responsibility and out covetousness are at the base of a great deal exploitative action in business is uniformed dedication. In the essay “Shooting an Elephant” by George Orwell has the similar situation which I have mentioned in the paragraph. In his article he describes about shooting a mad elephant legally, and he also mentioned about the behavior of people towards him such as some said the decision of shooting elephant was right where as some stated that the elephant was worth more than any damn Coringhee coolie.

Pressure tends people to take unethical actions. Moreover, because of pressure one has to face many health related problems which decreases the efficiency of the body to work. Due to pressure one takes an action which is not been took in common scenario. There are more than several situation in which people use to take unethical actions such as business place, industry, college, home and almost everywhere. For example, if a student in class don’t know what to write on the exam test paper, for of the pressure of grades individual tries to copy the answers from the other students which is also a type of unethical behavior. In article “Shooting an Elephant” by George Orwell states that “We began questioning the people as to where the elephants had gone and, as usual, failed to get any definite information”. This shows that pressure of fear can also tend group of people to take unethical actions. At the end, because of pressure one can take unethical behavior.

Moreover, understudies of the sum total of what ages have been found deceiving. Ongoing tricking is an infectious conduct that can be remedied through home, school, and national degree of intercession. Absence of good preparing both in the home and in school has been referred to a noteworthy purpose behind the expansion in the dishonest conduct engaged with coning. Most kids starts to learn ethics in the home. For instance, if youngsters watch their folks undermining their assessments, the kids may excuse that deceiving is alright for them too. For example, a salesman tries to sell the product to the customers by coning them with the unworthy advantages to make the customers buy the product. Perhaps, on a national level, government officials, including our president, have been trapped in unscrupulous conduct. This setback has an appearance of cultural issue of decay. At the end, tricking someone is also a type of behavior which is unethical, and which leads someone down.

Nowadays, because of the business opportunities one is a cut throat to other to get success. University education is one of the reason behind the ethical behavior in business, for from universities students get learn to compete with others to get better grades. Pressure from supervisor is one the reason of an unethical behavior. For examples, there are many workers who work under the pressure of their supervisor which leads the workers to work against the company policy. As per George Orwell in his article “Shooting an elephant”, states that “The people said that the elephant had come suddenly upon him round the corner of the hut, caught him with its trunk, put its foot on his back and ground him into the earth”. In the article the author discusses about the two types of people who were helpful to give direction of the elephant and on the other hand there were some people who tricked him, for they dint want the elephant get killed. At the end, working under someone’s pressure can tend to take unethical actions.

To conclude, unethical behavior never helps someone for a long time. Many of the people can think that unethical behavior can be found when the situation is going not in their favor. Moreover, I think that in the article “shooting an elephant” was the ethical action took by the police office. One can never get success holding the hand of unethical actions.
