However, now, Milkman is starting to carry on like a developed individual, fit for taking care of duty. Obviously, right now Milkman isn’t yet prepared for the full hardships and advantages of being a grown-up. The reader’s can see the transformation of Milkman’s attitude, as growing up comes toward the finish of his journey. Milkman finally commits to his quest, ‘he needed to find the one person left whose clarity never failed him(Morrison 79), that will lead him through the rest of his journey.
